Garden Beet does not recommend using tyre planters for edibles. The jury is out on whether contaminates from the tyre planters leach into the soil.
While the tyre planter risks may be low we are erring on the side of caution. We suggest the use of our Patio Planters or Woolly Pockets for growing vegetables.
