Is it OK to separate the different parts of plant and say take the foliage but leave the flowers?
Geraniums are such a blast of psychedelic leaf colour and texture but i find the candy coloured flowers too much. I plan to love my 30 odd geraniums that I purchased today but I will not allow one to display its showy flower in my planting bed.
I think the leaf and flower need to be in separate rooms. They are too outrageous to be together. Bad influence.
I would never do that. I’ve got to like the foliage, the flowers & the form before I will allow a plant to enter my garden.
