Sway Stools. Fun, Colourful and they Sway.

These sculptural stools can be placed in the outdoors to provide bright colour around the garden or patio whilst also allowing for ‘perching’.

Fun and novel for children as well as providing informal seating. They come in Red, Orange and Green. Pink is available on request.

Made from Polyethylene and Polyurethane. The sway stools are hollow and sand is added as a ballast.

Jan 2010 - Sway stool will be shown at the V&A Museum in a exhibition called 'Sit Down: Seating for Children'.

The sway stool was selected due to its versatile nature and its ability to provide impromptu places to sit indoors as well as outdoors.

Taking the classic tale Goldilocks and the Three Bears as its starting point, the exhibition invites us to consider just what makes a successful seat. Seventy examples of children’s seating will be shown, including pieces by Eames, Ercol and Gerrit Rietveld. Ideas around the growing popularity of designer kids' seating will also be explored.

The exhibition will tour to Shipley Art Gallery and Museum, Newcastle. It's on from 6 February - 10 September 2010.
