I have watched my next door neighbour, Jane, use these patio planters over spring/summer  2009 and am now convinced these are a great garden accessory for anyone wanting to grow their own vegetables.

They are tough, relatively cheap, avoid the need to prepare the ground, great for small spaces  (including balcony growing) and they are reusable. Patio planters are a fab garden accessory and are here to stay.

My only complaint is the red becomes sun bleached. A bit hard to avoid when your plants need full sun. Jane, however, does not mind.
