Street art can be a great way to deter vandalism. The City of Moreland took a unique approach to Bonwick Street, Fawkner and engaged Garden Beet to design and install an artificial vertical garden to overcome the threat of vandalism in one of its local strip shopping centres in Melbourne's growing north.
'Reduce the ugly impacts of poorly considered grafitti' was Garden Beet's brief.

Garden Beet's 2017/2018 street frontage is comprised of a series of circles made from a mix of the best selling pre-made gardens sold by Garden Beet.
The circles were installed between October and December 2017.
